Hi Paul, I couldn't believe when I actually found some info about the Giovanni side of the Zani clan. I am Angelo Zani's daughter (married, as you can see) and thus Giovanni's granddaughter. I actually met you in 1970 when I stayed at your place en-route back to Perth from Queensland.
Angelo (dad) married Nancy Meleri on July 8, 1942 and they had two children, me and my brother Brian. He married also and had four children, Natalie (now Jennings), Paul, Simon and Fleur. Unfortunately the marriage broke up and Brian has since remarried.
Uncle Percy passed away approx 1980, having been pre-deceased by his wife, Margaret. They had two children, Peter(deceased) and Wendy (Hall). Unfortunately, Dad passed away on 18/11/1985 after a 2 1/2year battle with various illnesses. Mum is still going well, as is Vera, but I don't know about Edna.
Dad also served in the RAAF in Sydney until the end of WW11 and then Mum and Dad came back to W.A. 2 Acres was sub-divided from Grandad Zani's farm upon which Dad built a home for himself and Mum. They lived with Nanna (Louise/Lougia) and Giovanni until their house was completed, Mum still lives in this today.
If you want any more info on the rest of Giovanni's children and grandchildren, Please let me know and I will be only too happy to help out where I can.
Likewise, if you have any info or a family tree started could pass info onto me please.
I have had contact with a Gavin Zani in Sth Australia, one of Antonio's great-grandchildren?. He is married with several children.

Jocelyn Paterson (nee Zani)
