Looking for information on Massimo Zanni. WWI reg. shows date of birth 09 Jan 1894 in Frassino, Italy. It also states that he Worked as a logger at a logging camp (Benson Timber Co) in Firwood, Oregon. He moved to Holyoke MA and married Julia Bottoni on 11 Jun 1922. They moved to Springfield MA and had 3 children, Lillian, Albert and Raymond. Massimo died 30 Aug 1934 Pulmonary Tuberculosis. The family has stated that he had 3 bother Joseph (Giuseepe), Stephen and Dominick. Stephen and Dominick died dureing WWI. Joseph came to the USA and eventually settled in Johnstown, RI. They had a falling out and that is why Massimo moved from RI to MA. I have been told that his parents were Dominick and Beatrice Steffani who died when Massimo was six. He was sent to Glasglow Scotland at that time to live with relatives. I have a picture of a Maria Zanni living in Italy back in the 30's or 40's and have been told she is a niece of Massimo's.

Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated.

Sharon
