To All Zarate's:

My father (youngest in a family of 5) comes from La Union and he is just as uncertain as regards our ancestry. My grandfather died when my father was a kid of 5 years. I do not know much about our relatives by my father's side. In fact, no other relative (belonging to my pater) who bears thesame family name is known to us.

I have heard friends say they know of families bearing the surname (from Pangasinan, too), but I can not connect with any of them.

Interestingly- I, my siblings and cousins have a lot of similarities on our facial features.

Well, I just want to find out if our family is bigger than what is known to us.
