I've been browsing google for the surname zarate, and i've chanced upon this genealogy forum.it's good thing, there are sites such as this one. You, see i am a zarate too but it's very unfortunate that we don't have any relatives that we can call. The story is that my grandfather who was still young then decided to go on his own and leave his family in Pangasinan. He left the province and studied in manila, went abroad, gone back to the philippines and got married. From that time on, from what i hear and remember from my mother, there never had the chance that my grandfather ever went back to his home province. That's why we really don't know who are our relatives there. But at one point, my eldest brother, got assigned from his job in dagupan, pangasinan.there he met lots of zarates.they got to talk, and learned that they were relatives. They still even know who my grandfather is.And by the way, my grandfather is Francisco Zarate. For me, i would like to meet some of my relatives in Pangasinan. If there's another reunion of zarates in pangasinan, please notify me.
I'm Rafael J. Zarate,26 years old, living in quezon city.My e-mail address is rafjz@hotmail.com My mobile # is +639195910297, if you're calling abroad. if you're in the philippines, it's 09195910297.Let's hope we'll see each other.
