William Zaring m Virginia L Thompson, Wash Co IN

In Reply to: Zarings of Washington County IN by Bruce Zaring of 94

A GGAunt, Virginia Layfayette Thompson (John C & Amanda (Garriott) Thompson) was born in 1827.

She married William Zaring and lived in Washington Co. She was eventually buried in 1890 at the Mt Hebron Cemetery there.

I don't have a lot of info on William, nor really on Virginia. I do know they had children, including Sarah Emma/Emily Zaring, born 1856 in Wash Co.

Sarah eventually moved to Ozone, Johnson, Arkansas with her (noname) husband she married in 1879 in Scott Co IN.

Funny Thing: Virginia had a younger brother: James Harvey Thompson, who moved his family down to Ozone, Johnson, Arkansas, too. BUT, we have no reference to my family of James Harvey having interaction with Sarah's family. (May be speaking to the wrong descendents?)

Any more info on this Wash Co Zaring family...or any info on Zarings moving to Arkansas?

Thanks. cg
