Zaring, Zarging, Sargent - Chicago ?

Hi -

I am unsure of the actual name but this forum is the closest I could find.

My grandmother's name was Lydia Doris Sargent or Seargent. On one online record it appears as Zarging. She had a sister named Agnes who married a Ray DeLong and a Brother Ed ( Edmund, Edwin, Edward ? ). I believe the family was from either Germany or Poland.

The three siblings were all in Chicago at one point. Agnes remained there till her death. I don't know about Ed. Lydia Doris married my grandfather, Carl Bean, also from Chicago, and they lived in S. Dakota for a time. They divorced and Lydia Doris married another man named Jaeger.

After her second husband passed, she came to California and was living in the San Jose area where she passed in the 70's.

I would appreciate any input or info.

Brian Bean
