Hi Kathy.......
Were there any children listed in the obit??
I'm trying to locate the parents of my gr-grandfather.

John SIGLER/ZIGLER b: bet 1854-56
married in Jackson Co.,IN (adjacent to Bartholomew Co.) July 1879 to Sarah LOUDERMILK

John died in Jackson Co. Sep 30, 1890

I have been unable to locate any death or burial record although the following was published in the Jackson Co. Democrat Wednesday Oct 3, 1890

Siggler, John --Died at his home in Clear Spring, Sun., The 30th of Sept.,
John Siggler, age 35 years. He leaves a wife & 3 children

1880 US Federal Census Jackson Co., IN
Vol. 1, by JCGS 1999, page 235.
Salt Creek Township, page 201, Dwell/204-212.
Sigler, John W.--W,M,24--day laborer-b. IN-f. b. IN-m. b. IN
Sarah E.---W,F,20-wife-Keeping house-b. IN-f.b.IN-m. b. IN

Descendents of this line become intermingled with the MARTIN familes of Lebanon Co.,PA.........who seem to connect with ZIEGLERS, etc from that area

The various spellings make this so hard to reserach

Any leads would be great !!
