Looking for a connection to Rebecca Elder Zeigler, born around Effingham, Illinois about 1862. Her mother was Elizabeth Young Gray Elder. Her father was Samuel D Elder (b 1819 Jackson County, Ohio). Her siblings were John W Elder(half-brother b 1848), Margaret E(half-sister b 1850), Thomas Denton Elder (b 1856), Marion Francis Elder (b 1857), Joseph Elkanah Elder (b 1959-60). She also had half-brothers William H Gray, Samuel B Gray Jr, John H Gray.

They lived in or near Kinmundy, Marion County, Illinois most of their lives. My father recalls "Aunt Becky" from his childhood. Rebecca married a Jack Zeigler sometime after 1880. I don't know where they married or what happend to her husband. She is on the 1900 Census Records for Wayne County Missouri, listed as a servant. She has two daughters, Willia and Lillian. I know that Lillian married a George Heeg and they moved to Springfield Ohio. I can't find any further record of Willia. Rebecca lived for with Lillian in the later part of her life. I believe she passed on sometime in the 1940s.

Would love to find connection to this part of the family. I have lots of information to share about this family.
