Hi,
Thanks so much for responding and I would NOT be at all
surprised as the MIKELL surname also somehow connects to my
MYSTERIOUS line for which I can make NO connections and
nobody claims-------------waiting to hear from an SC LADSON
person to find out if he knows anything.
Would love to learn of more of your search; perhaps we can
help each other.
Other surnames: DEAS, RICHARDSON, DRAYTON, FRASER, SMALL,
WESTON, ETHERIDGE, DRIGGERS, DIGGS, HAZARD, and especially BROWN-------my ggrandmother was CHARATA BROWN, mulatto, born 1833 NC but believe She was a slave in SC.
Be sure to check USFAFRICANA and AFRIGENEAS sites for info.
Warm regards,
carol wheeldin warren.
