Don't let the geographical location of an ancestor persuade you that they were not of the same family.
I have ancestors who moved from Germany to Pennsylvania, to Virginia, to Pennsylvania and back to Virginia, where they finally remained. Their grandchildren, born in Virginia, resided there until 1796, then moved to Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas,Texas,Ohio, Indianna,Oklahoma and Missiouri. The point is that they were definitely of the same family and migrated all over the place.
Others of the same original group, settled in Pennsylavania in 1738 and remained there. Franconia, Exeter Township, Reading, Lancaster and other central Pennsylvania areas. Others of that same original group went north into New York.
It would be helpful if you could supply background names of the families you know about in the PA area.
