Zellers Discovery was property of Michael C. Zeller son of Jonas Zeller 1769-1835 & Elizabeth .. He left Maryland in 1859 migrated to Ogle Co., IL. where his half brother and half sister had already lived for many years. Some of the lands belonged to my Uncle John Zeller 1797-1850 son of Jonas Zeller and Elizabeth, but when he passed away in 1850 his only heirs were his brothers, and 3 children of late sister Mary (Zeller) Moats 1810-1843 d/o Jonas Zeller and Elizabeth, the children were described in Probate court as minors living with Uncle Daniel Zellers in Ogle County, ILL. Jonas had 1/2 interests in Bathelors Delight with his brother Jacob Zeller whos wife was Margaretha.. In 1793 Jacob mortgaged lands to David Lefevre who was husband of Mary (Zeller) Lefevre. But Mary Zeller Lefevre was to have died before her father's will in 1779. I have never found the connection there yet.
