My grandfather, Fritz Frederick Zellers, was born in New York Harbor in the late 1800's as his parents were immigrating from Germany though I do not know the town they were coming from. Don't know much more than that about my genelogy except that my Grandfather had brothers named Drake Zellers and Henry Zellers. My Grandfather married Elizabeth Vollers Hicks sometime about the turn of the century and they in turn spawned three daughters, Letha (Dixon), Hazel (Skipper), and Edna Pearl (Rhodes)and one son, Carl Frederick Zellers, Sr. Fritz & Drake were both in the fire department of Wilmington, N. C. I, Carl F. Zellers,Jr., married Nettie Colley in Wilmington, N. C. and we, in turn, had three children, Patricia Lynn, Pamela Gayle and Carl F., III. Would be interested in hearing from anyone who may provide more insight into this branch of the Zellers family.
