I am a descendant of Solomon Zeliffe Jr. from Northumberland County, Pa., but before that Tioga county, Pa.. Solomon's father was Solomon Zeliff or (Zeluff) Sr. who had the following children: Peter, David, Solomon, Joseph, Polly, HANNAH, Patty, Catharine, and Betsey. This information was gotten from the following source: The HISTORY OF EDWARD POOLE and HIS DESCENDANTS, by Murray Edward Poole, A.B. This book goes on in length to trace the descendancy of eldest son Peter Zeliff, but does not go any further with any of the "other" children. Peter was a LUMBER manufacturer, and built the first brigde over the Alleghany River. Solomon Jr. (and I think Solomon Sr.) are buried in Riverside Cemetery, in Point Twp., Northumberland county, Pa.. I believe that you may be in this line, and would love to share other info with you. Solomon Sr. was supposed to have come over circa the American REvolution from FRANCE. Hope to hear from you son. Debprah Weiner (from Las Vegas, NV.)
