My grandfather was Orville Lee Zent, born to (I think) Fredrick Zent. His family farmed an area around Cardington (Morrow County) Ohio. My grandmother's maiden name was Ramsey, also from a (quite large) farming family in the same area. My father was Carl Edward Zent and since he had only 2 sons and we each sired only daughters...our branch of the Zent family name will pass with us. I have much more genealogical information on my grandmother's (Ramsey) side of the family but at 57 years, now have a growing interest in researching the Zent name and will be a regular visitor to the site.
