Just following up with some new information. It looks like Joseph Zepnick came over in 1869 on a ship called the Ohio, but the name in the transcription is listed as Zepurk. He came with the two oldest children, Anna and Wenzel. There was another Anna with that may have been a sister or other relative that helped out with the kids while he worked to save up money for the trip.

Joseph's wife, Theresea, came over in 1868 and must have had the baby, Fransisca with her. The next child they had, Maria was born about 1775 in Wisconsin.

Are there any other Zepnick's out there?! I'd love to share and possibly get more information.

Sarah
