Peter Zickefoose first started acquiring land in what is now Highland Co. in 1772, recorded in Augusta Co. Seems like he would have to be over 21 to purchase land therefore born before 1751. He died between the tax visitation dates of March 1809 and March 1810. His estate was brought up for settlement on Oct. 13 1810 (Pendleton Co. Willbook 3, p.121). Has any naturalization record been found, to show that he was born abroad?
