Mark, did you ever look at land records in Frederick County for something on George Cook? Tere is a George Cook in the St John's Lutheran Church records who was present at the baptism of a John Cook child in I think the 1790's. Also
the marriage of George Cook to Marie Duckness. There are few Cook's in Washington County around 1800.
