I believeone of the Ziebol boy's wives actually went to Poland, (Prittisch is now a part of Poland and called,
Przgtoczna). She had no luck finding anything more on Matt Ziebold.
Prittiisch was once a part of Prussian Germany, and
became a part of Poland after WWII. When this happened, better than 2 million Germans fled to the new German borders.
Having once been a war zone, it is possible that many of the records were destroyed. Adding to the mass exodus by the German population, it would be like looking for the proverbial "needle in a haystack".
Have you found my Ziebol-Jacobs posting on Ancestry or Rootsweb.com? Much of my Ziebol info was gathered bythe above wife and made into a book. If you wish to contact her, e-mail me and I will send you her.
address.
