Hello, I am new on this List. My name is Karlheinz (Zolk)from Langenbruecken/Baden Germany. In my familytree there are about 20 Ziegelmeyer all born in Langenbruecken.
The most famous Ziegelmeyer citizen of Langenbruecken/Baden/Germany was Josef Ziegelmeyer.
He was born Sep 30, 1855 in Langenbruecken as son of the farmer Johann Georg Ziegelmeyer *May 13, 1829 and his wife Johanna Frey *Nov 25, 1832. He visited the Catholic
elementary school in Langenbruecken. He was married to Rosa Bosch from Langenbruecken Nov 4,1880. Nine children from whom eight survived arose from his marriage. Ziegelmeyer took over the agricultural operation of the parents and was since 1902 at the same time a mayor of the municipality Langenbruecken.
From 1907 to 1921 he was a member of the agriculture chamber in Bruchsal/Baden. The agriculture chamber
was a protection of interests of the scenery and forestry, an institution of the public right. Ziegelmeyer also was a representative of the Baden Parliament in Karlsruhe, namely from 1909-1913 and from 1913 - 1918 for two periods. He died May 1, 1928 and has been buried on the cemetery in Langenbruecken.
If anyone need information about the Ziegelmeyer from Langenbruecken, please feel free to contact my.
