Hi - Ziek was my maiden name. My dad's father was from germany. On a recent trip to Germany, I spent hours looking through phone books trying to find a Ziek listed and couldn't find any. I also suspect that the name was changed when my grandfather came through ellis island. About the only info. I can trace is that Ziek is a dutch word for "sick." Carolyn
