I am sorry this will not help you very much, my ex (we are not on speaking terms so I cannot get any other information for you except what I know) was born in Pomerania in 1922. His fathers' name was Heinrich but he was killed in a train accident in 1932 or 1933. The family stayed in Germany until after the war when the ex came to Canada he had a brother who was sent to Russia he was not heard from again, even when the war was over.
His mother died in Germany (Frankfurt) in the sixties. I am not researching the Ziemann name as there were no children from the relationship. I hesitate to post names in this forum, if you would like to e-mail me please feel free to do so.
