My Wife's Mother was Wilma Amanda Zike, Wilma's father was Walter Alva Zike, Walter's father was William Harvey Zike, William's Father was John Zike, John's Father was David Zike, David's father was John Zike who's Father and Mother were Jacob And Katharine!

This Is The Zike That Bill Fancher Was wondering about in 1999, Bill Is my Wife's Brother!

Wilma married Edward Eugene Fancher around 1950,Calumet City, Il. They had 5 children>Sue Ann b. 3-31-1953, Edward Jr. b. 4-1-1954, Robert Steven b. 1955, William Lee b. 11-22-1957 and Debra Lynn b.5-17-1959.

Debra married me ( John Eugene Kurzeja ) on 7-11-1980 and we Have 2 children> John Jr. b. 1-29-1981 and Christine Michelle b. 7-8-1982, Christine has a son Anthony James Kurzeja b. 7-7-2000.

Wilma Passed away 11-30-1979 and her husband Edward passed away on 11-22-1998.

I have a loose leaf copy of The Zike Book ( dated 1965 ) By Harry Virgle Smith That i have scanned into my computer and could e-mail anyone who is interested! I am also currently editing a Microsoft Word Doc. of the same Book, but it is a long process!

The book was aquired by my wife's sister Sue several years ago from a lady in southern Illinois, the copy has several hand writtened notations by somebody!

I hope this helps anyone working on the Zike Tree, anyone can e-mail me at with any questions
