My gg grandfather was Wm. Zike, b. 1821 to Catherine Smith Zike and David Zike.

Info. on Ancestry.com, "Descendants of Jacob Zike" lists her dob as 1777 but I have seen it as 1794.

Same site also lists as her dau., Elizabeth, b. 1800 in Indiana. I doubt it. Catherine and David did not marry until 1815. All other kids were born about 2 yrs. apart.


Further, same site says dau., Catherine m. David Brown on Dec. 4, 1834 in Shelby Co., IN. As we know, this is incorrect. I think Catherine and Margaret may have died young.
