Hey, we are related!! Susannah Smith was my gggreatgrandmother. Now , dont get your hopes up... I just started into the Zike genealogy thanks to a cousin sending me some of her notes,.. and to be quite honest, I didnt even know I had a grandmother by that name. Im afraid, since Ive just started into my gen work about two weeks ago, I really dont have anything I could offer in your search, except for the name of her (susannah s) son William Zike . He of course was born in Jackson Co. Indiana. And I have a feeling that you may have already known that. Unfortunately, I only have so far three generations of my Zike line tracked down. William who married Harriet Poore, who was my ggreat grandmother, and grandfather (I have their birth and death dates, but thats all) Williams father and mother John Zike and Susannah Smith (no dates at all) and Johns father and mother Jacob Zike and Katherine Avery (again, no dates or anything else on them) However, if you could let me in on where to get caught up on my Zike lines, maybe I can help you in your search for info on Susannah.

Sincerly , Scott Baker Trumbo

Ps,... Im also very interested in any Zike photos I can get my hands on. Trying to put together some kind of Zike family Photo album. I have a picture of William Zike and Harriet Poore if you are interested. I would be happy to e-mail you a copy. Did you know that Harriet was a minister, shocked the heck out of me!

bye for now..
