George "William" or "Washington" Zike?

I am a direct descendant of George W. Zike, Jr. I am confused about what the "W" stands for. I have now seen research showing it both ways from credible researchers. Does anyone know which name it is and where I can find a written source? GWZjr was a minister in Indiana who married Nannie (Mariah Nancy) Taylor in 1870. His parents are GWZ and Betty (Lydia) Ann Linville. Many thanks for any help you can give.
