HAMPTON - The marriage of Miss Irene Zins, daughter of Dr. H. Zins of Hampton, and Ross Mayhood, of Rochester, Minn., took place at St. Patrick's Catholic church here Monday, with the Rev. Vern Cross, pastor, officiating.
The bride who was given in marriage by her father was attended by her sisters, Miss Agnes Zins, maid of honor, and Miss Margaret Zins, bridesmaid. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Ralph Mayhood, Minneapolis, best man, and Morris Platt of Crookston, Minn., cousin of the bride. Ushers were Farnham Hitchcock and Marvin Sernett of Hampton. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast for 50 guests was served at the Coonly hotel after which the couple left on a two week's trip to Banff and Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies.
The bride was graduated from the high school at Redwood Falls, Minn., and from the nurse's training school of St. Mary's hospital at Rochester, Minn. She also took a post graduate course there and since completing it has been anesthetist for Dr. Charles Mayo.
The bridegroom was graduated form the University of Minnesota and attended school at Oxford in England. He is connected with the Socony Oil company at Rochester where the couple will live.
