I agree that your work is very extensive! Congratulations on a great project!

I stumble over your database and your name quite often as I look for information on my grandfather's family. My great-grandfather Peter is included in your Ardinger database, and I wonder if you can tell me how he's tied to your Zinses?

None of us east coast Zins have been able to successfully trace our line much beyond Peter. I have a christening certificate for him from Augsburg, listing his father as Alois and his mother as Kunigunde Hacker, but nothing beyond that. His emigration to Nova Scotia has prompted several interesting family legends... from stow-aways to stolen identities. Of course, it doesn't help that he was, apparently, always very closed mouthed about his life in Germany. He did, apparently have a "favorite" sister named Ursula.

Oh, look, I'm rambling :) So sorry! Any tidbits you can offer would be tremendously appreciated!
