Yes, we are related. Your great-grandfather and my grandfather (Gilbert Zinschlag) are first counsins.

I have talked to your Aunt Carla in the past, but it has been a few years. Your dad and Carla are my third cousins.

I would be happy to share what I have on the Zinschlag family, including a family picture of your great-great-grandfather, his siblings and his parents. Let me know what you are interested in.

No word yet on if the MN and IL families are related.
