Yup, they're mine. I don't have much more except the children of Jacob and Mary Ann Zoll and assorted information on them; and the 15 children of George and Elizabeth Alspach and assorted information on them, too. The date of birth for Jacob Zoll, I think, is off. His tombstone says he was born in 1793, and I tend to agree. Normally I wouldn't take a tombstone date too seriously, but under the circumstances, it's the best we can do until something better comes along. I think years ago, someone tried to fit Jacob into the Jacob Zoll family in Berks and Schuylkill counties, Pennsylvania. That Jacob had two sons named Jacob. The first died shortly after birth,"passed into eternity", probably in 1773. Their second child, a daughter, Hanna, was born in 1775. Then the second Jacob was born on March 9, 1777, ("my second son"). (I find that so poignant). Their ninth child, Soloman was born April 30, 1791, and Jacob wrote in the Bible, "My beloved wife was born August 11, 1755 and peacefully went to her rest in the Lord at the day of Soloman's birth". I think that's where the date 1791 came from for our Jacob. Unless that Jacob remarried and had another child, but I've never seen anything to indicate that happened. All we really know about him is that the census says he was born in Pennsylvania. I was glad to get the information on Chrissie McClelland. I didn't have that. What have you got? I'll be happy to share. I'm pleased there are so many people doing the Zoll line. For a long time I felt like the only one. Arlene McLennan
