I have been researching my great grandmother Mary Rosalie Zöller born in Germany 1/9/1843 to Francis Zöller and Catherine Guntz, possibly in Dorfprozelten. Mary migrated to Australia in approximately 1858 and married Henry Wilkie in Gayndah in 1865. Henry Wilkie died while on duty with the Queensland Militar in 1879. Mary married Patrick Hickey about 1882. Patrick Hickey was the licensee of the Downs Hotel in Drayton Towoomba and on Patrick's death Mary became the licensee of the Downs Hotel which was eventually taken over by Mary Rosalie's 3rd husband Daniel Cullen.
I have noticed that the family name Zöller is usually converted to Zeller and sometimes Zoller in Australia.
