Thank you for validating what I had theorized concerning the various spellings of surnames. You can imagine the variations of my maiden name Kiger.

My Zug came from Switzerland and lived a Mennonite in Lancaster County, Pa. His son migrated to Greene County, Pa. where my paternal ancestors have resided (amd still do) for over two centuries.

My last Zook was my great grandmother who was born in 1832.
