Josephine A. (Cline) Zook
MORENCI Josephine Zook, 93, of Morenci, passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at the Charlotte Stephenson Manor in Adrian. She was born on May 20, 1914, in Anterdam, Ohio, the daughter of James and Clara Belle (Harris) Cline.
On Dec. 30, 1939, in Fremont, Ohio, she married Robert Zook. He preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1997. Josephine was a homemaker living in the Morenci area since 1939, and was a member of the Seneca Community Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia (Steven) Winch of Morenci, Sally Snider of Risingsun, Ohio, and Rebecca (Daniel) Terrazas of Adrian; four sons, Richard (Jerrie) Zook of Morenci, William Zook of Adrian, Michael (Stacey) Zook of Royersford, Pa., and Thomas Zook of Jackson; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Lucille Pratt of Jewett, Ohio; and one brother, Theodore Cline of Beulah.
Besides her husband, Robert, Josephine was preceded in death by her parents; seven sisters, Mildred Cline, Emma Clark, Olive Sholl, Eva Anderson, Ruth Smith, Hazel Miller, and Mary Raber; and two brothers, William Cline and James Robert Cline.
Funeral services will be on Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at 11 a.m., at the Seneca Community Church in Seneca with the Rev. William VanValkenburg officiating. Burial will follow at the Porter-Packard Cemetery east of Seneca. There will be a visitation on Saturday evening from 6 until 8 p.m., and Sunday evening from 6 until 8 p.m., at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Seneca Community Church or to Hospice of Lenawee County.
