Thanks for your reply. If you or another reader of the note would like to respond to me personally am at We always figured that the Zornow name came from "anywhere East" and it was probably a contrived name of maybe even Russian origin. It is my personal guess that the name was a result of the chaos caused by Napolean in the Russina seige of 1812. If anyone has anything more than a guess please reply as you wish. Thanks, WBB
