I just received this from the SC state archives.

In a book named "Stub Entries to Indents issued in payment of Claims Against South Carolina Growing out of the Revolution - Book 1 - by A. S Salley" there is this entry...

No. 539 Issued 9 December 1784 to Mr. Henry Zorn for Twenty four pounds 17 3/4 Sterling provis and forrage for Continental, State Troops and militia "
