The first listing of members of the Host Church at Host, Tulpehocken, Berks, Co., PA in 1748 included Jacob Zorn, George Michael Wilfong and John Pfaffenberger. Jacob along with Wilfong and George Pfaffenberger migrated to Augusta Co., VA before the French and Indian War. More on these early German settlers can be found in: Thomas Poffenberger,"From Germany to Antietam, The early history of the Pfaffenberger family, Second edition." Xlibris, 2003. Best source Xlibris.com 888-795-4274 or Amazon.com.
