AUGUST 29, 1974

Adolph Zorn, 79, Chatsworth, died at 5:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at Odell Shelter Home, Odell, where he has been a resident for several years.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at the Culkin Memorial Home, Chatsworth, with Rev. Margaret Poe officiating. Burial was in the Chatsworth cemetery.
He was born Nov. 27, 1894, in Germany, son of Frank and Elfrieda Albrecht. He married Ruth Entwistle Sept. 12, 1916, at Bonfield.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Rigsby, Fairbury; three brothers, Frank, Wabash, Ind.; Paul, Forrest; William, Chatsworth; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by on son, Paul, who was reported missing in action in World War II; two sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Krohn and one sister who died in infancy.
He came to the United States at age 13 and was employed by a firm then known as the George Walter Tile Factory, now the Diller Tile Company Inc., and also worked on road construction.
Pallbearers were Bob, Clair and Mark Zorn, Vern Wilson, E.A. Dixon and James Winterland.
