Hello Alan,
Read your listing with much interest. I have in my records a one, Ophelia Hogaboom Zufelt.
This is how the record goes that I have.
Henry Young Zufelt
b.18 Feb 1795 in Sophiasburgh,Prince Edward Co.,Ontario,Canada
d. Ontario,Canada
son of Hendrick Schufelt and Elizabeth B. Young
married one :Ophelia Hogaboom born in 1800's
They had 2 children that I have record of.
One is Nelson Zufelt whom married Ann Little.
Nelson born 15 Jul 1931 in Lindsay,Ontario,Canada.
Ann Little died aft 1920
Their children are listed as:
John Zufelt born 1843
James Zufelt born 1851
Elizabeth Ann Zufelt born 1861
Andrew Goheen Zufelt born abt 1867
Jemima Goheen Zufelt born abt 1870
William Goheen Zufelt born abt 1873
Nelson Zufelt and Ann Little were married the 29 of Mar 1852
Andrew Goheen Zufelt married Isabelle "Bella" Paton
Their children are as follows:
James Leslie Goheen
Charles Goheen
Frederick Paton Goheen
Mary Enola Goheen
Leornard Goheen
The only child which I have any information on is Leornard Goheen, he was born the 30 Aug 1889 in Lindsay,Ontario,Canada and died 21 Nov 1926 at Rabbit Lake,Sask he was buried Nov 1926.
I do not have a Thomas Goheen.
All I have been able to put together as of now is that maybe, just maybe Andrew and Jemima and William Goheen were all adopted or raised by Nelson Zufelt whom married Ann Little. She may have been married to Goheen earlier and then married Nelson Zufelt.
