I have come accross a book recently listing Zufelts and Shufelts through the Dallenbach line from Switzerland. Most if not all descendants are from the NY area and most moved to Canada. The Zufelts and Shufelts are some how related, the name just spelled differently. They tie in to the Schwertfeger line which ties in the the Dillabaugh, Dillabough, Dillenback and Dillenbach line (all different variations of the same surname). If you want more information I can get the exact name of the book. I think you may find a wealth of information in the books. I am through the Zufelt line. Ruby Ruth Zufelt daughter of Henry Zufelt and Pheobe Chilton (we believe to have been polygamists. The marriage certificate has him marrying a Dalton and Chilton the same day). It goes on back through David Sands Zufelt and up through the Schwertfeger line into the Dillenbachs. I will wait to hear from you.
