Zulaica Family Genealogy Forum

I appreciate our interest on this matter. I´ve heard about many Zulaicas all around America, even in Argentina, but i need to know WHEN our ancentries crossed the Atlantic. In this way, we can relact our family past. Please, when you type places, point out the region, state and ever the country, because some of them are initials that i have to understand and sometimes that´s not easy for a basque boy... America is too wide for me to know!!! Oh, my father is another "Ignacio" Zulaica... there are really several Ignacio Zulaica´s! Maybe you are also relacted with my other basque surnames: Echevarria, Lizarralde, Aréchaga, Beltrán de Lubiano... or with some of those villages in the Basque Country: Aia or Aya, Eibar, Arkaute, Elorrio, San Sebastián, Vitoria, Zumaia, Zarautz, Guetaria, Tolosa, Pamplona... If you ever heard about them, just tell me. Oh, the last point: the "K" is a mark of our basque language, so if you see Zulaika, don´t scream! That´s like Echevarría or Etxeberria, Aia or Aya...
I hope this info is useful for any Zulaica. Agur! (Bye)
